INDICATIONS WITH SPECIFICATION FOR THE TARGET ANIMAL SPECIES:
Sterility
Sterility caused by sub-acute infections, cervicitis, vaginitis, vulvitis, endometritis, and trichomoniasis.
The bactericidal and fungicidal properties are appropriate for the treatment of wounds and of infertility resulting from endometritis.
Obstetrics
In cases of vagina damage, postpartum vaginal bleeding, prevention MMA syndrome (mastitis-metritis-agalactia). Lotagen has an astringent action on healthy mucous membrane but does not affect viability. Lotagen increases uterine tone during the puerperal period, and with its coagulating properties, assists in eliminating retained foetal membranes.
Surgical procedures and wound healing
Small local haemorrhages and bleeding during surgical operations, fresh and slow-healing wounds, lupus (pastern dermatitis in horses), hoof cancer (pododermatitis chronica madidans verrucose), ulcers on the legs, rot needle and other soft tissues of the limbs, interdigital necrobacillosis, burns, inflammation of the outer ear canal (otitis externa), furunculosis, eczema, erosion, urovagina irrigation in mare, milk pseudofistula obliteration.
