Tony Berland

As a CEO Managing Director, Tony Berland with his keen expertise in driving strategy oriented growth across different geographies, brings on board a wide, global, cross-functional experience with strong focus on making Legrand the industry leader in India.
His leadership role at senior management positions over the years has also equipped him with the skills to manage a multi-cultural work force cutting across nationalities.
An MBA from France, Tony has been associated with the Legrand Group for over 28 years since 1990. During this period, he has held a variety of senior positions within the organization.
Starting his career with Legrand in France as a Business Manager, he held few positions in Sales and Marketing for the French territory till 2007 for Legrand Brand and other brands of the group (Planet Wattohm and Arnould).
From 2007 till Dec 2008, he took the responsibility of the strategic marketing of the Cable management division at group level.
From 2009 till July 2012, he was the MD of Legrand Singapore and was taking care of the development of the group activities of South East Asian countries.
Post his stint at Singapore, for more than 6 years, Tony headed Legrand Australia and New Zealand as the MD till February of this year.

Deepak Patil
COO, Group Legrand India
Mr. Deepak Patil is professionally qualified B.E. Mechanical and has over 24 years of experience in the Manufacturing sector with companies like Whirlpool, LG Electronics, Electrolux & Voltas where he held various leadership roles in Manufacturing Operations, Manufacturing Engineering and Greenfield/Brownfield Projects
In Whirlpool he has been since 2006 and in his last role was heading their Bangladesh Operations. Mr. Deepak has vast Operations experience and has strong background in World Class Manufacturing, Six Sigma, Lean Management and Project Management.

Amit Singh
Chief Financial Officer, Group Legrand India
Amit comes with 20+ years of experience in various finance roles across industries. He brings strong international experience, having worked in the UK for around 10 years and has significant experience in leading corporate finance, strategic and operational initiatives, working closely with Leadership teams as well Company Boards.
In his current role, he manages Finance and IT functions across all entities in India. Amit started his career in Audit & Advisory, working with firms like PWC and Deloitte & Touche, and over the past 15 years he has been working in the industry, across different sectors.
Prior to Legrand, he worked in large automobile and confectionery companies in UK before joining Legrand Group in 2006, where he has covered the posts of Financial Controller of UK, entity CFO India and International Financial Controller based in France, covering predominantly Asia and Africa as regions.
In his current capacity, he manages the Finance and IT functions across all entities in India, with the support of the dynamic and committed team he possesses.
He graduated from King’s College London in Mathematics and is a qualified ACMA and CGMA. In his spare time, Darminder enjoys both playing and watching sports and is also an avid Pool player.

Sameer Saxena
Director - Marketing, Group Legrand India
Sameer Saxena handles the marketing function for three independent Group brand divisions in India: Legrand, IndoAsian and Valrack. He uses the expertise acquired over 23 years in strategic marketing (M&A) product program, distribution and channels.
His role encompasses:
-Outlining the long-term business roadmap for each business division, the product roadmap and brand strategy for the three independent brands.
-Identifying new technologies that may shape potential opportunities, and map the competition landscape for building competitive strategy for Legrand.
Reviewing, analyzing and adapting the yearly business plan for pricing, product launches, brand initiatives, promotions, and so on.
Sameer received the Top 100 Digital Marketers 2018 award. Marketing communication team has won a number of awards under his leadership.

Satpal Singh
Director - Sales, Group Legrand India
Satpal Singh brings over 15 years of extensive and diverse experience across the manufacturing, oil & gas, and energy sectors. He has consistently demonstrated exceptional leadership abilities in Strategy, Business Transformation, Supply Chain, and Governance, establishing a solid track record of success throughout his career.
Most recently, he served as the CEO of Numeric, a brand under Group Legrand, where he showcased remarkable leadership and achieved significant organizational performance. Prior to this, he held critical roles at Legrand India, including Head of Supply Chain and Business Transformation, where his strategic direction and execution consistently delivered value to the company.
Passionate about innovation and continuous improvement, Satpal excels in motivating teams, fostering collaboration, and leveraging technology to optimize business operations. He holds a Bachelor of Engineering (B.E.) in Production from Mumbai University and is an alumnus of Harvard Business School.
Outside of his professional pursuits, Satpal is an avid long-distance runner and enjoys exploring new trails on weekends, reflecting his dedication to both personal growth and a balanced lifestyle.
In his current role at Group Legrand (India), he is heading Business Transformation drive covering strategic aspects across Business processes, Governance and Digital transformation programs.
In his previous leadership assignments, he has worked with various fortune 500 and multinational organizations across different sectors, geography and functions. These Leadership roles were spanning across key functions like Strategy, Business Transformation, Strategic Sourcing & Supply Chain .
Satpal also has a credit of being part of one of the flagship Leadership development program at one of the leading Oil Gas company in India . He holds a Bachelor of Engineering (B.E.) degree in Production from Mumbai University and is also an alumnus of Harvard Business School.

Laxmana Murthy
Head - Digital Transformation & Strategic Projects
Laxmana Murthy's layered understanding and in-depth knowledge of the entire supply chain is the outcome of a rich experience of above 25 years of leadership across functions, including supply-chain, purchase, quality control and operations.
Laxmana's expertise sees him engaged in a range of roles; from mapping demand forecasts and managing the complete supply chain, to ensuring fulfilment of the Legrand promise for the last mile delivery to the customer. He is also responsible for the integration and smooth transition of acquired brands into the Legrand organisational framework.
Laxmana received the Express Logistics Leadership Award for the Supply Chain Visionary of the Year (2018). Under his leadership, Legrand India (SCM team)has won a number of awards.

Shrikant Manjrekar
Vice President – Purchase, Group Legrand India
Shrikant Manjrekar has strong Techno commercial background in leading organizations with over 27 years of experience in Manufacturing & Service industries with geographic responsibilities across India.
In his current role at Group Legrand (India), he is heading Purchase function to have streamlined purchasing processes, vendor management, training and certification programmes and collaborative approach of working with stakeholders to evolve feeling of partnership.
In his previous assignments, he has worked with various Automotive and Engineering multinational organizations across different geography and functions. These roles were spanning across key functions like designing, vendor development, manufacturing engineering, production, planning and purchase. He has rich experience being key member of core implementation team for Quality management systems, TPM, ERP systems.
Shrikant holds Engineering degree from BITS and having certifications for QMS, Six sigma, First choice and more.

Nisha Samuel
Vice President - Human Resources,

A result driven strategic business HR leader with over 26 years of diversified experience in leading human resources, Nisha has worked in industries such as Service, Consumer Durables and Specialty Chemicals.
She has in her career, been responsible for leading diverse portfolios in HR for COE functions like Talent Acquisition, Total Rewards and HR Business Partnering roles with both Corporate and Manufacturing functions. She also brings with her expertise and experience of delivering HR Operational Excellence and process orientation.
Her passion for leading people strategies that enable business growth and create a value based high performance culture enabled her to successfully lead and support transformation journeys in her previous two assignments with European organizations, Chryso India, a French Construction Chemical Player and Clariant India, a Swiss Specialty Chemical organization.
She is also a people leader who is adept at leading and managing multicultural diverse teams with her experience of having headed HR for India and South East Asia Pacific including Australia while associated with Clariant.
Prior to Legrand,Meenal has 15+ years of experience in HR with companies like General Electric, J.P. Morgan and Wipro. She holds a Master's Degree in HR from Cornell University and a Bachelors of Arts in Economics from St. Xavier's College, Mumbai.

Florence Petit
Head - Supply Chain Management
Over the past 14 years, Florence Petit has developed a successful track record in driving transformation in logistics and supply chain operations across various geographies (France, India, Africa).
In her previous experiences, she has set up a new venture in India for a French freight forwarding company, provided consulting in Strategic Sourcing in emerging markets, led logistics operations in 11 African countries for an American Oil & Gas multinational.
Currently heading the Supply Chain department at Legrand Group India, she is driving continual improvement in internal processes through the implementation of Lean management and culture. A firm believer in participative leadership, she is mentoring her teams to accelerate the digital transformation of the department and involve in Health and Safety as well as Sustainability initiatives.
Holding a Master in Management from Neoma Business School, France (Ranked nbr 30 Worldwide by Financial Times), Florence has several certifications in Lean management (Kaizen Institute) and Six Sigma (KPMG).
