In a bid to strengthen family foundations and promote financial stability, Abu Dhabi has introduced a groundbreaking Marriage Loan initiative. This interest-free loan is eligible for newlywed Emirati couples, aiming to help them start their married life on solid financial ground. Discover how this initiative is designed to nurture strong, resilient families and uphold cultural traditions in the UAE. The Abu Dhabi Social Support Authority will announce the channels through which the\u00a0Marriage Loan service\u00a0will be provided, the required documentation, and will start receiving applications\u00a0from early September 2024.<\/h4>\n\n\n\n

Financial Support <\/h4>\n\n\n\n

The Marriage Loan initiative provides an interest-free loan of up to AED 150,000 to newly married Emirati couples. This financial aid is specifically designed for those who are employed and hold an Abu Dhabi family book. The initiative underscores the importance of financial stability as a cornerstone for a successful marriage, offering young couples a secure start without the immediate burden of debt.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Abdulla Al Ameri, Director-General of the Abu Dhabi Social Support Authority, remarked, “This initiative reflects the Abu Dhabi Government’s commitment to fostering strong family ties and promoting social cohesion. By supporting soon-to-be-married individuals, we are laying the groundwork for sustainable family futures. “The initiative aligns with our broader efforts to strengthen Abu Dhabi\u2019s social care system,<\/em>” explained Ahmed Al Azeezi, Executive Director of the Social Support Applications Sector at the SSA. “We aim to ensure that this new service, along with the existing social support services, meets the highest standards of governance and transparency. Our goal is to help newly married couples in Abu Dhabi build strong, stable families.<\/em>“<\/p>\n\n\n\n
