Criteria and Application Process
To be eligible for the Marriage Loan, several criteria must be met:
- The husband must possess a Family Book issued in Abu Dhabi and be at least 21 years old.
- The wife must be at least 18 years old at the time of marriage.
- The husband’s monthly employment income must be less than AED 60,000.
- Registration on the Medeem Digital Platform is required.
The SSA will soon announce detailed application procedures and necessary documentation. Applications for the Marriage Loan will open in early September 2024, with the SSA promising a streamlined and transparent process.
