The place you work shouldn’t wear you down every day, but unknowingly that’s what uncomfortable chairs, messy desks, and poor lighting do day after day. With a few adjustments, however, you can improve your working environment and keep your desk from killing you. Your surroundings play an important role in influencing your productivity.<\/span><\/p>\n

Desk:<\/span><\/p>\n

The single most critical piece of furniture which determines your work productivity. There are many factors of your desk that play a key role<\/span><\/p>\n

Height of your desk \u2013 should allow you to comfortably sit and place your feet flat under the desk.<\/span><\/p>\n

The width of the desk should allow you to place both arms parallelly to the ground and should allow you to comfortably type on the keyboard.<\/span><\/p>\n

Setting up your monitor also matters. The poor placement could strain your eyes, create improper posture, etc. hence it is advisable to keep the screen 20-40 inches in front of you.<\/span><\/p>\n
